Kazimierz Drugi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Monteverde's Camilo Ponciano got a free kick in the 8th minute. Kazimierz Drugi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Berenguer in the 11th minute of play. Kazimierz Drugi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Berenguer in the 11th minute of the match. Monteverde's Camilo Sarracino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Xuereb in the 12th minute of play. Kazimierz Drugi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 22 minutes, Erubiel Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monteverde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Xuereb's late challenge caught a Monteverde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Xuereb helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 minutes, Camilo Ponciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monteverde and the MegaDeth players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Miguel Xuereb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of MegaDeth booed when Monteverde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Ted didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Santio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Mateo Cutberto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Miguel Xuereb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Sarracino having to interfere. In the 49th match minute, Monteverde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Pitin to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Xuereb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Camilo Sarracino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Xuereb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pastor Berenguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Kazimierz Drugi made a huge save. In the 58th match minute, MegaDeth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Drugi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ted in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Miguel Xuereb notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Monteverde's Camilo Sarracino. Camilo Sarracino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mateo Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kazimierz Drugi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ted in the 66th minute of play. MegaDeth's Kazimierz Drugi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Ted in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute, MegaDeth's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erubiel Ted fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Miguel Xuereb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Pastor Berenguer took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kazimierz Drugi to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th minute, Dario Santio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Miguel Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Drugi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Ted in the 94th minute of play. Mateo Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Sarracino having to interfere. A long shot from Camilo Ponciano in the 99th minute of play was well struck, but Kazimierz Drugi made a really good save at the right post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
