Honorato Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Edelmiro Jenaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Honorato Buinton made a huge save. Honorato Buinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Artal in the 42nd minute of play. Honorato Buinton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Artal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Se lesionó Gago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Artal in the 99th minute of play forced Sargento Cabral FC's goalkeeper Honorato Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Se lesionó Gago FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
