A wasted opportunity for Club Empalme Graneros. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Victorio Aztore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Se lesionó Gago FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Aztore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goel Keep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruud Gullit in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Arias saved Se lesionó Gago FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelio Tonio got free with Goel Keep in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Se lesionó Gago FC's zone, Ruud Gullit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Arias came out of the goal and Ruud Gullit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Uriel Pagomari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Club Empalme Graneros's Ruud Gullit in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Se lesionó Gago FC's goalie prevented a goal. Hilario Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goel Keep having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Goel Keep successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Artal to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Cornelio Tonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goel Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goel Keep came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Se lesionó Gago FC's Marcelo Artal. But to his dismay, Marcelo Artal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute of the match, Ruud Gullit tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugenio Arias saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the match, Cornelio Tonio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Goel Keep. Club Empalme Graneros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Tonio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Eugenio Arias stood somewhat misplaced when Ruud Gullit came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 65 minute. In the 69th minute Victorio Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goel Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Se lesionó Gago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Urbasa came free, but Eugenio Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Empalme Graneros's Goel Keep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Tonio in the 73rd minute of play. Ovidio Madaleno charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Madaleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Ovidio Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uriel Pagomari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Eugenio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Serafino Montez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Empalme Graneros and the Se lesionó Gago FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Se lesionó Gago FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
