Braulio Normando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Niceto Vidal made a huge save. Niceto Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Jenaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Buinton came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by san miguel fc's Ramon Cesaro. But to his dismay, Ramon Cesaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, Leon Ricart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sargento Cabral FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Edgardo Lidon kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Benigno Hug in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sargento Cabral FC's Edelmiro Jenaro. After 41 minutes, Prospero Cordairo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sargento Cabral FC and the san miguel fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sargento Cabral FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Prospero Cordairo hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Candido Saturnin shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Sargento Cabral FC's Honorato Buinton to catch but Candido Saturnin was lucky. It became 1-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Phelipe to make the kick off. If Igor Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
