Linterna Verde FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Tincu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Salvador Steven fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Feo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Linterna Verde FC's Alfonso Bakar got a free kick in the 18th minute. Jonas Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson de Mendonça in the 21st minute of play. In the 28th minute Salvador Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joachim Skansehøj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Presebal in the 29th minute of play. Joachim Skansehøj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Linterna Verde FC's goalkeeper Jonas Feo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Fernandez. The supporters of Linterna Verde FC booed when Charlie Boys FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureo Badia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Fernandez in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Feo saved Linterna Verde FC from getting behind. Jonas Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Fernandez to make the kick off. Váldson de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jonas Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Presebal got free with Joachim Skansehøj in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Salvador Steven came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Charlie Boys FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Steven couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd match minute, Linterna Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Benino to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd match minute, Linterna Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Presebal to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th match minute, Charlie Boys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Oliverio to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Charlie Boys FC's Ulises Mederi was substituted for Váldson de Mendonça. Vladimiro Gines kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Linterna Verde FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vladimiro Gines hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Salvador Steven's long shot passed Jonas Feo's right side. It was 4-0, 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linterna Verde FC's goalkeeper Jonas Feo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Linterna Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Guillelmus. Jonas Feo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Fernandez's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Bruno Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruno Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Charlie Boys FC booed when Linterna Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Intxixu didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Charlie Boys FC fully deserved thier win.
