Anier Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Eliseo Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Linterna Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Karlo came free, but Jonas Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tratayén FC's Inocencio Otsoko got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tratayén FC's Eliseo Boniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Tratayén FC from getting a goal against them. In the 41stth minute of the game Ernesto Presebal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tratayén FC's Eliseo Boniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Eliseo Boniel managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Linterna Verde FC's Ernesto Presebal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eliseo Boniel made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ernesto Presebal sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Batista during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inocencio Otsoko to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Tratayén FC defense, Ernesto Presebal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Boniel. The Tratayén FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Boniel should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Presebal in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Boniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 70 minutes, Alfonso Tabby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linterna Verde FC and the Tratayén FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfonso Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Linterna Verde FC's Jonas Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Otsoko in the 73rd minute of play. After 79 played minutes Linterna Verde FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Intxixu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Karlo got free with Jonas Feo in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Presebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eliseo Boniel was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Rodrigo Intxixu's late challenge caught a Tratayén FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Intxixu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute Inocencio Otsoko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicente Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. Javier Karlo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 93rd playminute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tratayén FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Linterna Verde FC.
