Victoriano Maore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Boniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Anastasio Cibran hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Anastasio Cibran came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Tratayén FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Cibran couldn't finish the play. Nicasio Regis stood somewhat misplaced when Inocencio Otsoko came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Tratayén FC's Javier Karlo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tratayén FC's zone, Victoriano Maore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Boniel came out of the goal and Victoriano Maore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Maore took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eliseo Boniel. Eliseo Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Javier Karlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Regis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Cibran got free with Nicasio Regis in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseo Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melquiades Bieito, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Otsoko made a kick off. Eliseo Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Ubelteso in the 52nd minute of play. Inocencio Otsoko might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Regis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Inocencio Otsoko ran back to his position shaking his head. Eliseo Boniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victoriano Maore in the 56th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Maore got free with Eliseo Boniel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Seme during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Saturnino Seme kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Los gatos jugadores's Honorio Felipo was substituted for Virgilio Elazar. Los gatos jugadores's Victoriano Maore got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tratayén FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Los gatos jugadores for much of the match.
