Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernesto Presebal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reynaldo Enekoitz took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Feo. Jonas Feo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Donato Estavan came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Simogasta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Estavan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Presebal got free with Filip Kaczanka in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonas Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Enekoitz in the 9th minute of play. Francisco Rik charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Rik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Simogasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Rik. Reynaldo Enekoitz scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Feo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bill Coekx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Feo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. If Reynaldo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Enekoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reynaldo Enekoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Reynaldo Enekoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonas Feo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Simogasta FC's Reynaldo Enekoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Feo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Simogasta FC's Bill Coekx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas Feo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Linterna Verde FC's Jonas Feo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Estavan in the 31st minute of play. If Alfonso Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Simogasta FC's Reynaldo Enekoitz in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linterna Verde FC's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Donato Estavan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jonas Feo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donato Estavan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jonas Feo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Simogasta FC. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 53 minutes, Reynaldo Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Simogasta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Enekoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Reynaldo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes, Simogasta FC's Zeledon Sindo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonas Feo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simogasta FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Linterna Verde FC's Lino Bilintx got a free kick in the 58th minute. Ernesto Presebal took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filip Kaczanka. Filip Kaczanka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simogasta FC's goalkeeper Filip Kaczanka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Feo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Simogasta FC's Reynaldo Enekoitz. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Enekoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Ernesto Presebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anier Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Linterna Verde FC's Ernesto Presebal got a free kick in the 97th minute. Simogasta FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
