In the 5th minute, Albano Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, LP FC -OFF-'s goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Presebal came free, but Teodoro Lucian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Abascal in the 15th minute of play forced Linterna Verde FC's goalkeeper Jonas Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LP FC -OFF-'s Teodoro Lucian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Presebal in the 18th minute of play. When Ignacio Argi came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the LP FC -OFF- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Argi couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Linterna Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Frichoso came free, but Jonas Feo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Calixto kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A hard shot 33 in the game by Carlos Abascal from a close distance when the talented Jonas Feo managed to make a qualified save. Linterna Verde FC's players were relieved. Jonas Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Weather, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Vladimiro Gines mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Linterna Verde FC and the LP FC -OFF- players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Carlos Abascal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Siro Frichoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Feo having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Paolo Librado rounded Linterna Verde FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Carlos Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. LP FC -OFF-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Feo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The supporters of LP FC -OFF- booed when Linterna Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonas Feo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Abascal in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Carlos Abascal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LP FC -OFF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Eloy Calixto's late challenge caught a Linterna Verde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eloy Calixto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LP FC -OFF-'s Eloy Calixto got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 67th minute Siro Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Linterna Verde FC defense, Siro Frichoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Feo. The Linterna Verde FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Feo should have stopped the shot. LP FC -OFF- were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
