Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernan Alvarez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Oso Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Darien's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Paulino Acevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 14 minutes, Rodolfo Rafel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the General Ramirez FC and the Nacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, General Ramirez FC's Rodolfo Rafel got a free kick in the 14th minute. Nikki Hejberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Calvet in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, General Ramirez FC's goalkeeper Paulino Acevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Darien. In the 23rd match minute, General Ramirez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Hermon to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Acevedo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional's Oso Ted. But to his dismay, Oso Ted quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcelo Amor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Paulino Acevedo made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Marcelo Amor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Acevedo, 3-0. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zeledon Otoniel hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Fernan Alvarez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikki Hejberg skillfully saved the ball. Zacarias Darien received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulino Acevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Zacarias Darien slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 36th minute. Paulino Acevedo made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marcelo Amor sent off a good shot on target. When Natalio Hermon was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. In the 42nd match minute, General Ramirez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Hermon to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Oso Ted had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Acevedo. General Ramirez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oso Ted was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zacarias Darien to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikki Hejberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Medero in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, General Ramirez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Darien came free, but Paulino Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes General Ramirez FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Tome. 62 minutes into the match, Zacarias Darien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulino Acevedo. General Ramirez FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Darien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Nacional's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Pablo Medero scored to the left of an out of position Nikki Hejberg, making the score, 8-1. General Ramirez FC's Paulino Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Darien in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes General Ramirez FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Calvet. Feliciano Orixe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Nacional was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Acevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Darien in the 92nd minute of the match. Pablo Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikki Hejberg having to interfere. Nacional walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
