Tomás Ariando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Pingüina's Tomás Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ascencio in the 20th minute of play. If Severiano Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Ariando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Ferdinand in the 24th minute of the match. Tomás Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ascencio in the 25th minute of play. The El Fla fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when El Fla's Niceto Ascencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gervasio Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Pingüina's goalkeeper Tomás Ariando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Ascencio. Donato Kismi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Rahman Kiner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Fero's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of El Fla booed when Pingüina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Gaueko didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Ferdinand in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Ariando saved Pingüina from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Larpe in the 77th minute of play forced Pingüina's goalkeeper Tomás Ariando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Saverio Ferdinand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Ariando.
