Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marcelo Soter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marcelo Soter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Frederico having to interfere. After 6 played minutes Gil got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Quinten. 9 minutes into the match, Gil's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Soter came free, but Gavino Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Pelagius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Pulares Ekatombe FC booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Raymond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Soter in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gavino Frederico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Pelagius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 27 in the game by Danilo Quinten from a close distance when the talented Anier Bermudez managed to make a qualified save. Pulares Ekatombe FC's players were relieved. When Pulares Ekatombe FC's Marcelo Soter in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gil's goalie prevented a goal. Ricardo Perfecto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Gil getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Desiderio Tristan hit a great ball. Gavino Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Soter in the 45th minute of the match. Danilo Karmel's late challenge caught a Pulares Ekatombe FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Karmel helped the player get up and apologised. Danilo Karmel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Gavino Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Soter, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Gil players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pulares Ekatombe FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desiderio Tristan to make the kick off. Desiderio Tristan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Anier Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes, Pulares Ekatombe FC's Aquilino Neto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gavino Frederico came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pulares Ekatombe FC reached it. Gavino Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Soter in the 64th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gil's Gavino Frederico got control of the ball when Marcelo Soter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Presebal's late challenge caught a Gil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Presebal helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Pulares Ekatombe FC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Presebal. When Marcelo Soter came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Pulares Ekatombe FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Soter couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil's Eliseo Petri couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pulares Ekatombe FC. In the 83rd minute, Ricardo Perfecto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Marcelo Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Gil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Pulares Ekatombe FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
