Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Plátanos's Ramiro Aurken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Blas Bazil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Paulo Seber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plátanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papagayos AFC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Paulo Seber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Braulio Lucado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Plátanos's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Bazil came free, but Leonides Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roque Dimo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. If Blas Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonides Benet came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Papagayos AFC's Braulio Lucado. But to his dismay, Braulio Lucado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Papagayos AFC's Gaston Turi got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Dimo in the 27th minute of play forced Papagayos AFC's goalkeeper Santiago Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blas Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ramiro Aurken sped through Papagayos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Daunte. After 39 played minutes Papagayos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Quilino. When Conrado Jaunti came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Plátanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Jaunti couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Blas Bazil made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Blas Bazil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Benet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Etxeberri charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Etxeberri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Papagayos AFC's Emanuel Leocadio got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 64th match minute, Plátanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Aurken to maneuver through the defense. If Lino Gumaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gaston Turi kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Pascual Olayo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Leonides Benet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blas Bazil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Plátanos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Papagayos AFC had controlled the match.
