Anier Bermudez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blas Bazil took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Bermudez. Anier Bermudez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 88 minutes, Lino Gumaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papagayos AFC and the Pulares Ekatombe FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Papagayos AFC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lino Gumaro hit a great ball. Santiago Daunte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Soter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Papagayos AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Pulares Ekatombe FC had held the ball for most of the match.
