The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in TEAM EDU's zone, Ettore Castagna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 6 minutes into the game, Nicolas Indar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osvaldo Felo. Nicolas Indar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. TEAM EDU's Osvaldo Felo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Munio in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Indar in the 11th minute of play forced TEAM EDU's goalkeeper Osvaldo Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Felo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 26th minute Modesto Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Felo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ettore Castagna, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Osvaldo Felo was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Higinio Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. TEAM EDU's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ettore Castagna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Munio in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo Felo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Poz to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Ettore Castagna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TEAM EDU's Osvaldo Felo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 63 minutes of play, Ombucito AFC's Modesto Munio made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Felo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Osvaldo Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Munio in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Ombucito AFC got a corner. TEAM EDU's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robustiano Johans ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Robustiano Johans almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TEAM EDU's Osvaldo Felo did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Castagna in the 71st minute of play forced TEAM EDU's goalkeeper Osvaldo Felo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Ombucito AFC's Camilo Tartalo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Felo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Modesto Munio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Osvaldo Felo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldo Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Tartalo in the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the TEAM EDU defense, Modesto Munio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Felo. The TEAM EDU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Felo should have stopped the shot. Ombucito AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
