With a little luck, Sportivo Club Social's Leo Paskal got control of the ball when Virgilio Matei tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Toni Butcher dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leo Paskal, 1-0. After 8 played minutes Sportivo Club Social got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Feliu. In the 11th match minute, Real Bañil F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Matei to maneuver through the defense. When Sportivo Club Social's Elpidio Cordaro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Amancio Loren might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bavo Van Dessel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Loren ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Amancio Loren notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Real Bañil F.C.'s Bavo Van Dessel. Bavo Van Dessel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Real Bañil F.C.'s zone, Elpidio Cordaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bavo Van Dessel came out of the goal and Elpidio Cordaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sportivo Club Social's Leo Paskal got control of the ball when Emiliano Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Club Social's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Egidijus Bakaitis was slow to take the kick. During this time Real Bañil F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Club Social's Casimiro Sarracino got a free kick in the 30th minute. Sportivo Club Social's Leo Paskal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Club Social from getting a goal against them. Claudio Rocendo's late challenge caught a Real Bañil F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Rocendo helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio Rocendo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Sportivo Club Social's goalkeeper Leo Paskal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Butcher. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Butcher in the 47th minute of play forced Sportivo Club Social's goalkeeper Leo Paskal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elpidio Cordaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Cordaro hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Elpidio Cordaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bavo Van Dessel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 60th minute Sportivo Club Social were awarded a corner. Fausto Feliu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Fausto Feliu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Bañil F.C.'s Bavo Van Dessel did a great save. In the 67th minute of the match Sportivo Club Social got a corner. Real Bañil F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fausto Feliu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 71st minute, Esteve Ciceron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Toni Butcher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Club Social's Leo Paskal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Toni Butcher, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Leo Paskal was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bavo Van Dessel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Real Bañil F.C. made a substitution. Herminio Lehen replaced Virgilio Matei. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Amancio Loren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Club Social's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Loren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bavo Van Dessel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Bañil F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
