Abel Ritchie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Reno's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 29 minutes Deportivo Alberti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Reno who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jeronimo Reno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo Alberti's Abel Ritchie did a great save. Clodoveo Manny might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Vulturar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Manny ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute, Herminio Rius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Reno got free with Abel Ritchie in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 42 minutes, Jeronimo Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Delo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Reno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Reno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Shepherd got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Clodoveo Manny. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Alberti's Raşit Uluman got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jeronimo Reno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Clodoveo Manny might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Vulturar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Manny ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Reno in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Ritchie saved Deportivo Alberti from getting behind. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Alberti's goalkeeper Abel Ritchie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Reno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Ritchie. Deportivo Alberti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Reno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Alberti's goalkeeper Abel Ritchie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A. Delo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Alberti had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
