Bohuš Kadleček took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by AKD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teobaldo Sotil was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de La Plata's players had a chance to rest. 18 minutes into the game, Cristobal Haritzeder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bohuš Kadleček was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bohuš Kadleček came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de La Plata's Eustacio Nastasio. But to his dismay, Eustacio Nastasio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Nastasio in the 31st minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Bohuš Kadleček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Eustacio Nastasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bohuš Kadleček saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Teobaldo Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Cipriano Frascuelo in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Estudiantes de La Plata's Eber Ludueña. Celso Porfirio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ceferino Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Sotil in the 43rd minute of play forced AKD's goalkeeper Bohuš Kadleček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Sotil in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bohuš Kadleček saved AKD from getting behind. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Teobaldo Sotil sped through AKD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bohuš Kadleček. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascual Aznar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bohuš Kadleček made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristobal Haritzeder in the 52nd minute. A collision led to AKD getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Severino Otoniel hit a great ball. The supporters of AKD booed when Estudiantes de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 63rd match minute, Estudiantes de La Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. Pascual Aznar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Adrio having to interfere. Baldomero Guillelmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edgard Valiente fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de La Plata's protests and gave Edgard Valiente a yellow card for diving instead. When Celso Porfirio came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AKD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Porfirio couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Aznar in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Adrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th match minute, AKD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Nastasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Bohuš Kadleček made a huge save. Bohuš Kadleček made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Nastasio in the 88th minute. When the match was over Estudiantes de La Plata could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AKD throughout the match.
