Hernandarias's Niceto Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Cristofor in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Deportivo Alberti got a freekick which was hit by Sverker Fribäck. In the 23rd minute, Deportivo Alberti's Abelardo Cristofor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Niceto Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Cristofor in the 28th minute of the match. Hernandarias's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Abelardo Cristofor scored to the left of an out of position Niceto Medero, making the score, 3-0. Abel Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Martxel in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 54th minute Deportivo Alberti were awarded a corner. Sverker Fribäck went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Alberti's corner Sverker Fribäck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Niceto Medero quite easily take care of the ball. In the 56th match minute, Hernandarias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Clodio to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute of the match Sverker Fribäck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Medero skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abelardo Cristofor in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Medero saved Hernandarias from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Hernandarias's Isidro Clodio got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Hernandarias's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Cristofor came free, but Niceto Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 played minutes Hernandarias got a freekick which was hit by Saul Jusepe. Deportivo Alberti's Sverker Fribäck got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70thth minute of the game Abelardo Cristofor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hernandarias's Niceto Medero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abelardo Cristofor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urbano Christobal hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Hernandarias's Niceto Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Cristofor in the 82nd minute of play. The Deportivo Alberti fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Deportivo Alberti's Abelardo Cristofor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
