Sporting Veyn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugène Meissonnier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Sporting Veyn's Domingo Eutor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugène Meissonnier in the 16th minute of play. Domingo Eutor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Veyn's zone, Daniel Ştefănucă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Eutor came out of the goal and Daniel Ştefănucă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Miguel Berbiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Eutor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Domingo Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugène Meissonnier in the 38th minute of play. Domingo Eutor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Laurendi in the 39th minute of the match. Osvaldo Infante scored 0-9 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Eutor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Tiniebra charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Tiniebra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Tiniebra hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Eugène Meissonnier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Eutor. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-10 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. If Eustaquio Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Eugène Meissonnier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Domingo Eutor. The goal made the score 0-12. Domingo Eutor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugène Meissonnier in the 87th minute. A collision led to GrondofiSu FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Maldonado in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Eutor saved Sporting Veyn from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Alonzo Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Eutor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Berbiz in the 98th minute of play. With a little luck, Sporting Veyn's Domingo Eutor got control of the ball when Eugène Meissonnier tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Sporting Veyn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GrondofiSu FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
