The score was now 1-1. 21 minutes into the match, Pipinas's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Txartiko came free, but Javier Haritzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Haritzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Arotza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Javier Haritzeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Arotza's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Santiago Eutor notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pipinas's Javier Haritzeder. Javier Haritzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximino Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Haritzeder having to interfere. Donato Fertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Fiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Maximino Arotza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Javier Haritzeder made a huge save. Santiago Eutor hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximino Arotza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Javier Haritzeder. That made the score 1-3 in the 95 minute of play.
