After 16 played minutes, Tartagal FC's Teobaldo Darien shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kostas Michas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tartagal FC reached it. Ludomir Okropny hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Ludomir Okropny fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Ham United's protests and gave Ludomir Okropny a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Inko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Victorio Otsoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kostas Michas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Otsoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tartagal FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
