Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Edvin Sävström started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Godofredo Lucian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustacio Chano. Godofredo Lucian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Académica FC's Gogo Sancho got a free kick in the 5th minute. Académica FC's Eustacio Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Mitxaut in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Alvaro Steven reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eustacio Chano. The goal made the score 2-0. Eustacio Chano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godofredo Lucian went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Eustacio Chano made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Alvaro Steven sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Eustacio Chano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Académica FC's Eustacio Chano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Académica FC from getting a goal against them. Gogo Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Académica FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Chano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Godofredo Lucian. In the 28th minute, Alvaro Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Steven received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eustacio Chano came out and tried to block the shot, but Alvaro Steven slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as LA MERCED F.C.'s Silverio Mitxaut slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eustacio Chano. That made the score 5-0 after 35 minutes of play. Xie Chao Cheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Pasqual in the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the LA MERCED F.C. defense, Rigoberto Dominic kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xie Chao Cheng. The LA MERCED F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xie Chao Cheng should have stopped the shot. Eustacio Chano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefano Wilhelm went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. After 46 played minutes Silverio Mitxaut rounded Académica FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 7-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Stefano Wilhelm made the kick off in the second half. When Académica FC's Ingvar Linqvist in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LA MERCED F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Eustacio Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Lucian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefano Wilhelm in the 67th minute of play. Académica FC's Eustacio Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Steven in the 68th minute of play. In the 77th minute Ingvar Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Chao Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Alvaro Steven ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eustacio Chano was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Godofredo Lucian scored 9-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Chano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Xie Chao Cheng successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee felt a red card was in order, 86 minutes into the game, when Arturo Calisto put in a rough tackle. Arturo Calisto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Xie Chao Cheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Dominic in the 92nd minute of play. Eustacio Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Steven in the 94th minute of play. Staffan Bålström hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefano Wilhelm in the 97th minute of play forced Académica FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that LA MERCED F.C. were the better team. LA MERCED F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
