Rodolfo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Murciélagos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Hurko to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Gavino Raymundo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Murciélagos FC's Rodolfo Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 minutes, Humberto Martxot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viento Norte FC and the Murciélagos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gavino Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Romero having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gavino Raymundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Romero was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When Augusto Otsoa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Murciélagos FC's protests and gave Augusto Otsoa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Viento Norte FC booed when Murciélagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Otsoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viento Norte FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marciano Azeari in the 32nd minute. The corner ended in Ariel Colon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Murciélagos FC's Rodolfo Romero did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Murciélagos FC's zone, Maksymilian Wawak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Romero came out of the goal and Maksymilian Wawak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Reynaldo Arotza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes, Gavino Raymundo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Murciélagos FC's Rodolfo Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46thth minute of the game Gavino Raymundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murciélagos FC's Rodolfo Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Viento Norte FC's Flavio Martino got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Viento Norte FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Arotza was the one to do the kick off. Gavino Raymundos short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Rodolfo Romero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Yaser Camcıoğlu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmacio Gelacio. Flavio Martino took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Romero. Rodolfo Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 61 played minutes Viento Norte FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Martxot. Reynaldo Arotza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dalmacio Gelacio. Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gavino Raymundo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Viento Norte FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Eustacio Castulo hit a great ball. Gavino Raymundo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Rodolfo Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viento Norte FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maksymilian Wawak in the 70th minute of play forced Murciélagos FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Murciélagos FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Gavino Raymundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murciélagos FC's Rodolfo Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmacio Gelacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Noe went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. With his leg Rodolfo Romero managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Viento Norte FC's Gavino Raymundo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Augusto Otsoa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Gavino Raymundo had several of the Murciélagos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Rodolfo Romero as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rodolfo Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Raymundo in the 89th minute. After 90 played minutes Murciélagos FC got a freekick which was hit by Yaser Camcıoğlu. Gavino Raymundo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Romero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gavino Raymundo in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodolfo Romero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
