Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) La Scaloneta's Erling Håland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Erling Håland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the La Scaloneta defense, Godofredo Lucian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Asteri. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Asteri should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Geronimo Polentzi threw the ball into play from the sideline. LA MERCED F.C.'s Claudio Galindo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Stefano Wilhelm was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 15 played minutes LA MERCED F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Albano Nahia. Diego Asteri made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Dráusio Lima sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Diego Asteri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dráusio Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA MERCED F.C.'s Alvaro Steven got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Stefano Wilhelm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Asteri. Stefano Wilhelm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Alvaro Steven sped through La Scaloneta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Asteri. 30 minutes into the game, LA MERCED F.C.'s Godofredo Lucian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Asteri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 33rd minute Alvaro Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Asteri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Steven might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Asteri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Steven ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Alvaro Steven took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Diego Asteri to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefano Wilhelm got free with Diego Asteri in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Asteri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Rolado in the 40th minute of play. LA MERCED F.C. were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after La Scaloneta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guido Rolado took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Godofredo Lucian made the kick off in the second half. Stefano Wilhelm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the LA MERCED F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
