Spectators: 7545 (Terracing: 5660, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicanor Garikoitz made the kick off which started today's match. Efrain Argoitz was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Desiderio Mede capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Desiderio Mede really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 11th minute, Adi Bahtiyaroglu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chaba Brahimi struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Efrain Argoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quirós. In the 15th minute, Hernan Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute Severino Manex shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Solustiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuervachio FC's Efrain Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Derwin in the 23rd minute of play. Vinicio Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Clemente Ricart heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 45th minute, Angelo Derwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Urre made a great header on Cuervachio FC's corner, it was just that Quirós's Abel Solustiano managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Derwin was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quirós were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Cuervachio FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chaba Brahimi took the corner. The corner ended in Hernan Iturri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervachio FC's Efrain Argoitz did a great save. Angelo Derwin took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Argoitz. Efrain Argoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 73rd play minutes Angelo Derwin shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Efrain Argoitz and just under the crossbar into goal. Cuervachio FC made a substitution. Jorge Lauro replaced Daniel Zabala. In the 77th minute Braulio Dolfos suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Clemente Ricart's late challenge caught a Cuervachio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Ricart helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Quirós was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Argoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Derwin went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Angelo Derwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quirós's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Derwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, Nicanor Garikoitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Solustiano. Quirós's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Garikoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Angelo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Desiderio Mede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quirós's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Mede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute Cuervachio FC were awarded a corner. Melquiades Urre went to the cornerflag to take it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quirós had won after a very even match.
