Spectators: 7555 (Terracing: 5668, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gregorio Richie made the kick off which started today's match. Telmo Granja's late challenge caught a Guqueri F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telmo Granja helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quirós's Telmo Granja got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 played minutes Quirós got a freekick which was hit by Justo Gaskon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Taurino in the 11th minute of play forced Quirós's goalkeeper Abel Solustiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Desiderio Mede reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jardel Carvalho. The goal made the score 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Quirós's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Medina came free, but Abel Solustiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Medina in the 19th minute of play. Mateo Taurino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Solustiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guqueri F.C.'s goalkeeper Jardel Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Telmo Granja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quirós fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 28th minute Hernan Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guqueri F.C.'s Cristian Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Guqueri F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Granja came free, but Jardel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jardel Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Telmo Granja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quirós's supporters rose to their feet, but Telmo Granja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jardel Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Mede took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jardel Carvalho. Jardel Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

51 minutes into the match, Guqueri F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Granja came free, but Jardel Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Iturri scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jardel Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes of play Quirós's Telmo Granja was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Quirós's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gregorio Richie 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. After 59 played minutes Guqueri F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Soto. In the 60th minute, Hernan Iturri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valter Pinhal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Guqueri F.C.'s Prudencio Salvator got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Chaba Brahimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quirós's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chaba Brahimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Quirós's goalkeeper Abel Solustiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Taurino. Desiderio Mede struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Jardel Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quirós. The supporters of Quirós booed when Guqueri F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Soto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valter Pinhal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jardel Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Arias's late challenge caught a Quirós's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quirós's Valter Pinhal quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carlos Soto, made in the 78th minute of the game. A hard shot 80 in the game by Mateo Taurino from a close distance when the talented Abel Solustiano managed to make a qualified save. Quirós's players were relieved. The supporters of Guqueri F.C. booed when Quirós was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Santos Nevada in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quirós's Clemente Ricart. In the 89th match minute, Guqueri F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Cristian Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Solustiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Guqueri F.C. booed when Quirós was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 95 minutes, Mateo Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guqueri F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quirós had won after a very even match.
