After a defensive mix-up in Los Leones's zone, Desiderio Mede stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Azubeli came out of the goal and Desiderio Mede tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Solustiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Wahlnäs in the 32nd minute of play. Abel Solustiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhang Yin Si, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Santio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Quirós's goalkeeper Abel Solustiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Rodrigo. 46 minutes into the game, Omar Acevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quirós's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhang Yin Si was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Telmo Granja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Alonzo Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Zhang Yin Si put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abel Solustiano. Zhang Yin Si took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Solustiano. Abel Solustiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0.
