The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonides Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Merexildo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Senon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. ENEMIGOS DEL MAL's Honorio Senon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Merexildo in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Americo Luken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mauricio Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Senen having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Ariel Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Mauricio Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Senen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Lordi hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Nueva Orleans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Mendez came free, but Virgilio Senen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, ENEMIGOS DEL MAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Tirso to maneuver through the defense. Virgilio Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Mendez in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elpidio Galeno in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Senon saved ENEMIGOS DEL MAL from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Mendez in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Senen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Merexildo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Nueva Orleans FC's Elpidio Galeno got a free kick in the 55th minute. Americo Luken came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Virgilio Senen could save by the left post. When Americo Luken came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the ENEMIGOS DEL MAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Luken couldn't finish the play. Claudio Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Nueva Orleans FC's Humberto Sein seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Humberto Sein the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nueva Orleans FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Humberto Sein had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Nueva Orleans FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ENEMIGOS DEL MAL:s goal. Virgilio Senen went to the wrong direction when Candido Guifre was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With his leg Virgilio Senen managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when ENEMIGOS DEL MAL's Americo Luken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Orleans FC's zone, Americo Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Senen came out of the goal and Americo Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Virgilio Senen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Luken in the 69th minute of the match. Virgilio Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Mendez in the 74th minute of play. ENEMIGOS DEL MAL's Americo Luken got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacio Derwin charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Derwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, ENEMIGOS DEL MAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Derwin to maneuver through the defense. If Ignacio Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Mendez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th match minute, Nueva Orleans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Edwardo to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match it was 0-2 when Candido Guifre shot a long shot which zipped by Nueva Orleans FC's goalkeeper at the right pole. The Nueva Orleans FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ENEMIGOS DEL MAL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
