Spectators: 7117 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 20) Piquillín FC's Isaias Naldo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Isaias Naldo succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Romulo Guilabertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Naldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Sergio Sasoin made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Guilabertus. AFC Villa Raquel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Villa Raquel's zone, Sergio Sasoin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Guilabertus came out of the goal and Sergio Sasoin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 12 minutes, Hipolito Onofre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquillín FC and the AFC Villa Raquel players grew even worse after the yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, one of Piquillín FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Florentino Gonzo, was totally fooled by AFC Villa Raquel's Cirilo Donostia, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 21 minutes, Sergio Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piquillín FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Sasoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Isaias Naldo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Villa Raquel's Romulo Guilabertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Piquillín FC's Sergio Sasoin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Guilabertus was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, Julio Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Florentino Gonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergio Sasoin took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romulo Guilabertus. Romulo Guilabertus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. 35 minutes into the game, Sergio Sasoin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Romulo Guilabertus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isaias Naldo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Romulo Guilabertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piquillín FC. When Oscar Oidor fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Villa Raquel's protests and gave Oscar Oidor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AFC Villa Raquel's Oscar Oidor got a free kick in the 46th minute. Samuel Herensuge was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 2-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Wilfredo Madeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Gonzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julio Marquez's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Sergio Sasoin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Romulo Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sergio Sasoin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Piquillín FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Sasoin couldn't finish the play. AFC Villa Raquel's Romulo Baldovino was substituted for Jorge Bero. A collision led to AFC Villa Raquel getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anastasio Tibalt hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Anastasio Tibalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Villa Raquel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquillín FC the free kick. Anastasio Tibalt kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Piquillín FC's Isaias Naldo made it 2-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romulo Guilabertus was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Madeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Gonzo was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the game, Niceto Osorio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romulo Guilabertus. Niceto Osorio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-8. Piquillín FC's Antonio Mancio was substituted for Isaias Naldo. In the 93rd minute Wilfredo Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Gonzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Cheche in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Gonzo saved Piquillín FC from getting behind.
