The audience was convinced that Sixto Tximitx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adan Tello was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Sauzal's goalkeeper Adan Tello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Gipuzkoa.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Javier Stephen was the one to do the kick off. Independiente F.c's Rodolfo Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Stephen in the 56th minute of play. The referee showed Ivan Salbatore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Salbatore hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Sixto Tximitx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente F.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Tximitx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateo Chorache kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Mitxaut. That made the score 1-2 in the 70 minute of play. The supporters of Independiente F.c booed when Sauzal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Selmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Mitxaut came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Sauzal's Placido Marquez. But to his dismay, Placido Marquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Adan Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Tximitx, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes of play, Independiente F.c's Sixto Tximitx made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adan Tello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adan Tello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Tximitx in the 94th minute of the match. During the 95th minute of the match Ivan Salbatore completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ivan Salbatore a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Adan Tello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
