In the 3rd minute Edgardo Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Diego Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Claude recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palmar AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Otávio Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Israel Deunoro might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Ruisko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Israel Deunoro ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Claude in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Ruisko saved Palmar AFC from getting behind. If Godfredo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Deunoro's late challenge caught a Palmar AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Israel Deunoro helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Alejandro Baristo managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROSARIO CENTRAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Baristo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Ruisko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgardo Claude took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diego Ruisko. Diego Ruisko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the game, ROSARIO CENTRAL's Edgardo Claude nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Ruisko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Otávio Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Ruisko having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Claude in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Ruisko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44thth minute of the game Edgardo Claude who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmar AFC's Diego Ruisko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half ROSARIO CENTRAL were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Otávio Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Jaizki scored 0-4 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Ruisko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL booed when Palmar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Montenegro in the 59th minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind ROSARIO CENTRAL's goalkeeper Alberto Hustaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Godfredo Bordat notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of ROSARIO CENTRAL's Alberto Hustaz. Alberto Hustaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. During the 69th minute of the match Israel Deunoro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Israel Deunoro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Palmar AFC's Diego Ruisko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Palmar AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Edgardo Claude got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Palmar AFC's zone, Otávio Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Ruisko came out of the goal and Otávio Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ROSARIO CENTRAL fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when ROSARIO CENTRAL's Otávio Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Beltran to maneuver through the defense. Otávio Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ROSARIO CENTRAL's Artemio Jaizki got a free kick in the 88th minute. Diego Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Baristo in the 90th minute of the match. Alejandro Baristo in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Diego Ruisko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. ROSARIO CENTRAL's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
