The audience was convinced that Camilo Sexto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eleuterio Maureo was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Don Malbec's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Hegoi came free, but Basilio Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Henry Dahlgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Henry Dahlgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Basilio Sauveur made a huge save. Felix Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Maureo having to interfere. Black Mamba's Eleuterio Maureo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Sexto in the 20th minute of play. Eleuterio Maureo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camilo Sexto went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Don Malbec's Modesto Ostots got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Don Malbec were awarded a corner. Apolo Hanni went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Don Malbec's Apolo Hanni to fire away a dangerous shot which Eleuterio Maureo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 28th minute Henry Dahlgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Sauveur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Dahlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Black Mamba's Adrian Hegoi got a free kick in the 45th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Black Mamba players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
