In the 18th minute Pedro Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Terciero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Brysz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, one of Los Pulouvas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Pulouvas. Segundo Terciero was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Ladislao Refugio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ladislao Refugio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Segundo Terciero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, Gardey FC's Segundo Terciero threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Malvin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Segundo Terciero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Josh De Lucca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Segundo Terciero made a huge save. Los Pulouvas's Segundo Terciero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Malvin in the 46th minute of play. Segundo Terciero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Cutberto to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Los Pulouvas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xepe Vives to maneuver through the defense. When Cesar Markel fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gardey FC's protests and gave Cesar Markel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Los Pulouvas booed when Gardey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Quirce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Johnsson. Gardey FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Camilo Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Johnsson having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Los Pulouvas's goal looked a bit too open when Josh De Lucca came free, but Segundo Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Gardey FC were the better team. Gardey FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
