With his leg Serafin Hernandez managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Caspalá FC's Anacleto Lawrence fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 8 minutes into the match, KATO Futbol Club's goalkeeper Serafin Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Lawrence. If Eustacio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anacleto Lawrences short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Serafin Hernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Serafin Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Sergi in the 15th minute of play. Serafin Hernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustacio Arce was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Sergi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, KATO Futbol Club's Carlos Atarratze got a free kick in the 59th minute. Serafin Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Lawrence, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Jeronimo Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafin Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Lawrence in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Leandro Oriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KATO Futbol Club's Serafin Hernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Lawrence in the 89th minute of play. If Jeronimo Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caspalá FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
