After 11 played minutes La Emilia Fc got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Belasko. In the 15th minute, Rogelio Ezkerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pingos Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Pingos Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddy Gilen ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd match minute, Pingos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Martinez to maneuver through the defense. Guillermo Hegoi charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Hegoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ariel Martinez scored 1-3 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Favila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. La Emilia Fc's Amado Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Ezkerra in the 32nd minute of play. Amado Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Ezkerra in the 33rd minute of play. Feliciano Leguizamón could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcial Licerio made a huge save. Segundo Bladi's late challenge caught a La Emilia Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Bladi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Segundo Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Favila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Ezkerra in the 38th minute of play. Amado Favila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Matteo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pingos Futbol Club's zone, Humberto Cordario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Licerio came out of the goal and Humberto Cordario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Cordario made a kick off. Amado Favila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Ezkerra in the 62nd minute of the match. Rogelio Ezkerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Amado Favila made a huge save. After some careless play in the La Emilia Fc defense, Ariel Martinez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Favila. The La Emilia Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Favila should have stopped the shot. Pingos Futbol Club made a substitution. Nestor Naldo replaced Rogelio Ezkerra. The throw-in from Pablo Belasko in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pingos Futbol Club's Ariel Martinez. 70 minutes into the match, La Emilia Fc's goalkeeper Amado Favila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Martinez. With a little luck, La Emilia Fc's Amado Favila got control of the ball when Nestor Naldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Favila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes of play Pingos Futbol Club's Ariel Martinez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Pingos Futbol Club getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ariel Martinez hit a great ball. La Emilia Fc made a substitution. Amador Bizi replaced Pablo Belasko. La Emilia Fc's Marco Aurre was substituted for Freddy Gilen. If Clemente Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Emilia Fc's Amado Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Matteo in the 87th minute of play. Humberto Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Licerio having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Clemente Matteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pingos Futbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
