Camilo Tajo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Verye's Rauf Erginay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Tajo. That made the score 2-0 after 9 minutes of play. 12 minutes into the game, one of Batavia FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Verye's Damian Tomi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Camilo Tajo. Rene Atauri tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Natalio Guillelmo. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-1 in the 19th minute. Vladimiro Caton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Guillelmo having to interfere. In the 26thth minute of the game Rauf Erginay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Batavia FC's Camilo Tajo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute, Vladimiro Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Leoiar hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Pastor Ilazki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batavia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Ilazki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Guillelmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Vladimiro Caton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Verye's Fang Zhen Hao sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camilo Tajo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Rauf Erginay took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Camilo Tajo to make any attempt to save it. Vladimiro Caton hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Natalio Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Domingues, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Pastor Ilazki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Guillelmo having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rauf Erginay made a kick off. Rodolfo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Tajo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Verye's Eustacio Joseph. But to his dismay, Eustacio Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Fang Zhen Hao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Verye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fang Zhen Hao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Batavia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Caton to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Santiago Quiroga with Pastor Ilazki as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 78th minute, Rauf Erginay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fang Zhen Hao in the 79th minute of play forced Batavia FC's goalkeeper Camilo Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Batavia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fang Zhen Hao came free, but Camilo Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Tajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rauf Erginay, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Vladimiro Caton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Natalio Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Verye's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
