When Rodrigo Unax came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the San Miguel City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Unax couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Benjamin Justin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Tajo. Benjamin Justin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Pastor Ilazki's late challenge caught a San Miguel City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Ilazki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Batavia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Benjamin Justin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Tajo. With a little luck, Batavia FC's Camilo Tajo got control of the ball when Rodrigo Unax tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Lertxun having to interfere. Camilo Tajo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Justin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Unax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Camilo Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Tajo having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to San Miguel City getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eugenio Colas hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Quiroga during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee ignored Batavia FC's protests and gave Sergio Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. Gogo Milian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Reynaldo Romero fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batavia FC's protests and gave Reynaldo Romero a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Romero hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Batavia FC's goalkeeper Camilo Tajo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. San Miguel City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
