In the 17th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Eate to maneuver through the defense. MaLuGe 3.0's Mikael Vibjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Bertol in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match C. A. Atlanta got a corner. MaLuGe 3.0's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Federico Gil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Federico Gil made a great header on C. A. Atlanta's corner, it was just that MaLuGe 3.0's Mikael Vibjörnsson managed to reach the ball for a save. Mikael Vibjörnsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Eli's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 28 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Eli. Jonathan Eli charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Federico Gil fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Atlanta's protests and gave Federico Gil a yellow card for diving instead. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Jorrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Cristian Tello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Kismi. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Tello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. During the 67th minute of the match Jonathan Eli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonathan Eli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th minute, Jonathan Eli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Jorrin in the 69th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Arnoldo Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikael Vibjörnsson came out of the goal and Constantino Bertol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Jorrin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Kismi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Evaristo Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Rosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evaristo Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Vibjörnsson having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C. A. Atlanta players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
