The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Loiola in the 9th minute of play forced Rivadavia AFC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rivadavia AFC's Kiko Cera got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Siro Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, Rivadavia AFC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Uxio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Claris in the 18th minute of play forced Rivadavia AFC's goalkeeper Ricardinho Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iwan Zerde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Uxios short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Ricardinho Costa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Baltasar Uxio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Clason fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Uxio couldn't finish the play. Kiko Cera took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Tallia. Gabriel Tallia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ricardinho Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Uxio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A hard shot 29 in the game by Baltasar Uxio from a close distance when the talented Ricardinho Costa managed to make a qualified save. Rivadavia AFC's players were relieved. Ricardinho Costa came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Clason's Victorino Claris. But to his dismay, Victorino Claris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 33 minutes of play, Rivadavia AFC's Generoso Jacob made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gabriel Tallia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baltasar Uxio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Ricardinho Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roque Dimo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Rivadavia AFC's Ricardinho Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Claris in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baltasar Uxio was the one to do the kick off. Ricardinho Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Claris in the 56th minute of play. Victor Delfino hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Clason's goalkeeper Gabriel Tallia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Generoso Jacob. Generoso Jacob came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gabriel Tallia could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Siro Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rivadavia AFC booed when Clason was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardinho Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Claris, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ricardinho Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Llorenc in the 70th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Victorino Claris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardinho Costa was relentless in the 79th minute of the game.
