João Francisco Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Francisco Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Chano in the 17th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Froilan Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Francisco Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezar Emilianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Arnaldo Suero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cezar Emilianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

1-6 became the score in the 52nd minute when Froilan Chano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Pablo Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Acosta might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezar Emilianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Acosta ran back to his position shaking his head. Cezar Emilianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Suero in the 62nd minute of the match. João Francisco Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If 邵斌鹏 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnaldo Suero in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezar Emilianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Arnaldo Suero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 邵斌鹏 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Francisco Lucas having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Globo Juniors's Arnaldo Suero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezar Emilianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Francisco Lucas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Honorio Emenon threw the ball into play from the sideline. Globo Juniors's Hakkı Kenan Hükümran quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Arnaldo Suero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cezar Emilianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
