Severo Ramond started the match with the kick off. Diego Madeo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Gaspard in the 8th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Rafael Inautzi in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Inautzi in the 15th minute of play forced Santamarina's goalkeeper Fulgencio Corderro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Madeo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Gaspard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severo Ramond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Diego Madeo made a huge save. After 33 played minutes Cuervo FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Cordarrol. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Gaspard in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Madeo saved Cuervo FC from getting behind. In the 36th minute Santamarina were awarded a corner. Edgard Anaya went to the cornerflag to take it. Nicanor Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fulgencio Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Ramond received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Diego Madeo came out and tried to block the shot, but Severo Ramond slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 42nd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Quintun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severo Ramond might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Madeo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 72 minutes of play, Santamarina's Octavio Urbes made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Madeo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Gaspard came free, but Diego Madeo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Madeo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Urbes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Cuervo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Inautzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes, Froilan Filipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervo FC and the Santamarina players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cuervo FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Froilan Filipo hit a great ball. Diego Madeo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Urbes in the 90th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Santamarina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
