Arnaldo Suero started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Globo Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Cidro came free, but João Francisco Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes Globo Juniors's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lázaro Mark who took care of the corner kick. Globo Juniors's attentive Emanuel Bautista managed to snatch the ball when Lázaro Mark made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Danilo Tino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Francisco Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Nicasio Pelayo charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicasio Pelayo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicasio Pelayo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Venancio Kepa kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Amadeus Carrizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Suero in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to Central Norte de Salta getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Celestino Tuste hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the game, Venancio Kepa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Central Norte de Salta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Globo Juniors the free kick. After a rather tough play, Central Norte de Salta's Venancio Kepa got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Tino in the 24th minute of play forced Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Tino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Francisco Lucas having to make a save. João Francisco Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Tino, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Venancio Cidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Central Norte de Salta's Danilo Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Francisco Lucas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Central Norte de Salta's corner Lázaro Mark fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and João Francisco Lucas quite easily take care of the ball. After 37 played minutes Central Norte de Salta got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Mero. In the 38th minute, Emanuel Bautista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Central Norte de Salta's Amadeus Carrizo didn't even have to move. When Danilo Tino came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Central Norte de Salta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Tino couldn't finish the play. Danilo Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Tino to strike the kick off in the second half. Venancio Kepa got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Venancio Kepa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Danilo Tino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Francisco Lucas. Danilo Tino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 67 minutes into the match, Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Tino. In the 68th minute, Celestino Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Francisco Lucas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Tino went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Tino in the 80th minute of play forced Globo Juniors's goalkeeper João Francisco Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Central Norte de Salta got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Cidro. Venancio Cidro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Lázaro Mark came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Central Norte de Salta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Mark couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Aílton Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. João Francisco Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
