An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Mundo in the 13th minute of play forced La Ballenera's goalkeeper Nestor Gasteiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Gualterio Mundo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 19 in the game by Nicolas Llin from a close distance when the talented Nestor Gasteiz managed to make a qualified save. La Ballenera's players were relieved. Nicolas Llin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Nestor Gasteiz made a huge save. Nicolas Llin took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Gasteiz. Nestor Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Nicasio Franco fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RIVER PLATE FC's protests and gave Nicasio Franco a yellow card for diving instead. Nicasio Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Eustacio Ubendu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gaston Aguilera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Llin got free with Nestor Gasteiz in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Rolando Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Llin got free with Nestor Gasteiz in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Nicolas Llin made a precise shot to the right of Nestor Gasteiz. La Ballenera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 44th minute, Nicolas Llin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Llin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Llin took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Gasteiz. Nestor Gasteiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 57 minutes into the match, Nicolas Llin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nestor Gasteiz. La Ballenera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Llin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. La Ballenera's Nestor Gasteiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Llin in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Nicolas Llin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Nestor Gasteiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicolas Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The RIVER PLATE FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when RIVER PLATE FC's Nicolas Llin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Llin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Gasteiz was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After some careless play in the La Ballenera defense, Gualterio Mundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Gasteiz. The La Ballenera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Gasteiz should have stopped the shot. Nestor Gasteiz came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by RIVER PLATE FC's Gualterio Mundo. But to his dismay, Gualterio Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. A collision led to La Ballenera getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rigoberto Jerardo hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Carlos Heriberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Gasteiz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nestor Gasteiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nicolas Llin struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Nestor Gasteiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER PLATE FC. In the 93rd minute Diego Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Gasteiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
