In the 7th match minute, Chuquis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. Chuquis's Benito Abalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Chuquis from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes into the match, Vicente Ciceron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Abalos, 1-0. Ovidio Cordairo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Vicente Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diego Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arteaga FC's Vicente Ciceron in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aquiles Oinaz's late challenge caught a Chuquis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Oinaz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Aquiles Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Silvanito hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Arteaga FC's Diego Frans shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Benito Abalos but with some difficulty. 36 minutes into the match, Chuquis's goalkeeper Benito Abalos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Frans. Benito Abalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Ciceron's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When Vicente Ciceron came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Arteaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ciceron couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Arteaga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Rivero came free, but Vicente Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Cornelio Rosario fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuquis's protests and gave Cornelio Rosario a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Arteaga FC booed when Chuquis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Ciceron took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Abalos. Benito Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Patricio Harkaitz put in a rough tackle. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arteaga FC! Baldomiro Cristofol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Martxelin having to make a save. In the 75th minute, Benedicto Quintin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th match minute, Chuquis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Rosario to maneuver through the defense. Chuquis's Benito Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Frans in the 96th minute of play. If Diego Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arteaga FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
