Arteaga FC's Diego Frans got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramon Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ciceron in the 26th minute of the match. Arteaga FC were furious when Lucio Vincent was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Arteaga FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Soledad AFC:s goal. Tomás Feo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Karmel got free with Vicente Martxelin in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Diego Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Diego Frans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Mel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Diego Frans made the kick off in the second half. Vicente Martxelin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Karmel in the 57th minute of the match. Diego Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Mel having to interfere. Soledad AFC's Ramon Mel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Soledad AFC from getting a goal against them. Oscar Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ramon Mel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match, Diego Frans got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ramon Mel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pablo Eusko's late challenge caught a Soledad AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Eusko helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Chants of Arteaga FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Soledad AFC had held the ball for most of the match.
