In the 9th minute of the match Eloy Abeita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Abalos skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Chuquis booed when GRUPOSIMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Seguinus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Chuquis's Felix Montxo tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 24 minutes, Ovidio Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuquis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Cordairo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 minutes, Felix Montxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chuquis and the GRUPOSIMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for GRUPOSIMA FC. Eloy Abeita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benito Abalos. 1-0. Ovidio Cordairo scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Ciceron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, GRUPOSIMA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Cristofol came free, but Ricardo Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomiro Cristofol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Ciceron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Ovidio Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Chuquis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Cordairo couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Ciceron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Cordairo's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Ovidio Cordairo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuquis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Cordairo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Baldomiro Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Chuquis were awarded a corner. Felix Montxo went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montxo made a great header on Chuquis's corner, it was just that GRUPOSIMA FC's Ricardo Ciceron managed to reach the ball for a save. When Ovidio Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Chuquis fans jumped to their feet. Ricardo Ciceron didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Chuquis's Baldomiro Cristofol shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ricardo Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Cordairo in the 78th minute of the match. Benito Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Seguinus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ovidio Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Ciceron made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Baldomiro Cristofol sent off a good shot on target. Benito Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Seguinus in the 89th minute of the match. With his leg Ricardo Ciceron managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Chuquis's Baldomiro Cristofol fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
