Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ovidio Cordairo made the kick off which started today's match. Ramon Mel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ovidio Cordairo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Ramon Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Cordairo in the 8th minute of play. When Ovidio Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Chuquis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Cordairo couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Ovidio Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Herrera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. When Romulo Herrera came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Soledad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Herrera couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the match, Soledad AFC's goalkeeper Ramon Mel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Cristofol. Luis Rivero kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Eustaquio Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soledad AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Lucado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Abalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benito Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Lucado went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Soledad AFC's Ramon Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Cordairo in the 46th minute of play. When Eustaquio Lucado came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Soledad AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Lucado couldn't finish the play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romulo Herrera to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Chuquis's zone, Eustaquio Lucado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Abalos came out of the goal and Eustaquio Lucado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Cristofol in the 56th minute of the match. Romulo Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Romulo Herrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chuquis's zone, Eustaquio Lucado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Abalos came out of the goal and Eustaquio Lucado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soledad AFC's Augusto Rumaldo was substituted for Romulo Herrera. Augusto Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Benito Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augusto Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Abalos having to interfere. Chuquis's Benito Abalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Chuquis from getting a goal against them. Ramon Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Cordairo in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Baldomiro Cristofol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soledad AFC made a substitution. Abel Sotil replaced Gaspar Gonsalve. Ramon Mel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Cordairo in the 84th minute of play. Eustaquio Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Abalos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Cordairo in the 87th minute of play forced Soledad AFC's goalkeeper Ramon Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Soledad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Ovidio Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Mel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Eustaquio Lucado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benito Abalos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Eustaquio Lucado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Abalos. That made the score 1-2 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over Soledad AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chuquis throughout the match.
