Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ovidio Cordairo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Chuquis's Luis Rivero got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, Domingo Olando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Montrelle charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Montrelle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Baldomiro Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chuquis's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Medardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonides Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Cordairo in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Domingo Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuquis's Benito Abalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Domingo Olando came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the San Lorenzo de Mar del fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Olando couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute of the match San Lorenzo de Mar del got a corner. Chuquis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Solustiano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jorge Ordono got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Olando in the 19th minute of play forced Chuquis's goalkeeper Benito Abalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Godfredo Silvanito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuquis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Mar del the free kick. In the 20th minute, one of Chuquis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chuquis. 24 minutes into the game, Domingo Olando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benito Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Mar del getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Boleslaw Opat hit a great ball. Leonides Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Rivero in the 30th minute of play. Baldomiro Cristofol's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonides Medardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 34thth minute of the game Domingo Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuquis's Benito Abalos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Leonides Medardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomiro Cristofol. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Leonides Medardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Mar del from getting a goal against them. After 38 played minutes Chuquis got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rivero. If Baldomiro Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Blai hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Benito Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haroldo Solustiano went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half San Lorenzo de Mar del were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Olando made a kick off. If Domingo Olando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Rivero was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Chuquis getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Luis Rivero hit a great ball. Benito Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Olando in the 68th minute of the match. If Haroldo Solustiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Olando took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Abalos. Benito Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Leonides Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montxo in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Cristofol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Medardo was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Domingo Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Mar del's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Olando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Abalos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Montrelle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Cristofol in the 84th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Mar del's goalkeeper Leonides Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Mar del's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Cristofol came free, but Leonides Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Montrelle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. San Lorenzo de Mar del's Leonides Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Cristofol in the 96th minute of play. Baldomiro Cristofol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Medardo having to interfere. San Lorenzo de Mar del's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
