In the 15th match minute, Belgrano de CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Caluva FC's Prudencio Jaunzuria tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Elvio Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Abarca hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Donato Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgrano de CBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Enol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Barea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Ospin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano de CBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caluva FC the free kick. The supporters of Caluva FC booed when Belgrano de CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belgrano de CBA's Donato Enol was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 40th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Rodolfo Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Enol was the one to do the kick off. Belgrano de CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belgrano de CBA's Bichiko Bichukov was substituted for Donato Enol. 65 minutes into the match, Belgrano de CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Ostargi came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bichiko Bichukov scored 6-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teofilo Barea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Belgrano de CBA fully deserved thier win.
